Jeanine Ruda Genauer

Jeanine Ruda Genauer is a senior communications/public relations professional with a wealth of experience in a variety of industries, both for profit and non-profit. After working in NYC advertising agencies and heading in-house marketing and public relations teams, she founded the JPR Group.  With a laser focus on what JPR Group Public Relations does best – building positive brand awareness through media coverage – she and her team have a proven track record serving education, healthcare, supermarkets, senior living, architecture, legal community, charities and more.
Jeanine received her MBA from Baruch College, NYC, and her B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park. She has been recognized as a Leading Women Entrepreneurs Brand Builder, received the McKnight's Women of Distinction Commercial Excellence Award, and NJ Monthly's Great Oak Award for charity work among other accomplishments.

Sofia Fiorita

PR Associate

Sofia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology from Kean University. With prior work experience at Push the Envelope PR, she contributes brand storytelling and media relations expertise to the JPR Group team. Sofia brings a creative and client-focused approach to her role where she prioritizes relationships and collaboration to deliver impactful PR strategies.

Heather Hodder

Senior Media and Communications Associate

Heather Hodder is a media and communications professional with over 15 years of experience. Heather holds an M.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University. While completing her B.A. in Political Communication at George Washington University’s School for Media and Public Affairs, Heather interned at The U.S. Department of State for three semesters, in The Bureau of Public Affairs and The Bureau of International Information Programs under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Additionally, Heather has professional experience and bylines from The New York Times, Fuse TV, the Office of Communications at The Brookings Institution, and as a Senior Writer for Greybox Intel.

With a diverse background ranging from the entertainment industry, government relations, and finance, Heather enjoys helping clients execute omni-channel media campaigns and cultivating relationships.

Tanya Hunt

Senior Communication Associate

Tanya Hunt is a senior communications professional with wide-ranging expertise in government relations, media relations, public relations and project management.
Tanya began her career in Washington, D.C., serving as Campaign Press Secretary and Deputy Press Secretary to a United States Senator, then as Press Secretary for a United States Representative. Her government experience led to a long-term position as Senior Manager of Government Relations and Public Affairs for the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) in Rosemont, IL, and later to a position as Senior Public Relations and Communications Consultant to the City School District of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, NY. Tanya earned a Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA, holds a Master of Jurisprudence (M.J.) in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago, and a B.A. in Telecommunications and German from Indiana University - Bloomington.
In addition to her work for JPR Group, in 2022, she founded Hunt for College & Education, an expert counseling firm dedicated to providing customized college admissions and educational advice to students and their families.

Jeff Witchel

Art & Design Director

Jeff Witchel graduated from Pratt Institute with a B.F.A. (Cum Laude) in Advertising Design and Visual Communications. He has been an award-winning advertising art director, writer, designer, illustrator, and TV producer ever since.
Jeff built his career at top New York ad agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Grey Advertising, and Wells, Rich, Greene. Over the years, he has created award-winning work for many clients including AT&T, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Jell-O Pudding, The Plaza Hotel, and Pfizer. His many prestigious awards include N.Y. Art Directors Club Gold Award, One Show Gold Award, N.J. Art Directors Club Award, multiple Andy Awards, Graphis Annual, numerous readership awards, plus an Emmy Award nomination.
